Standard and Optional Features
SwingSet distributors are manufactured with single, double, triple and quadruple spouts.
45Þ Distributor
This is the standard distributor supplied. It is used with whole grains, fertilizer and free flowing feed products.
55Þ Distributor
The 55 degree distributor is used whenever you have a sluggish product such as mixed feed with fat or molasses in it. These units average about 30% taller than a 45 degree unit.
If you are handling both free flowing and sluggish materials, you may be able to use a 45 degree distributor by only running the sluggish material through the ducts closest to the center and the free flowing products through the outer ducts.
Fertilizer Distributor
The construction of a fertilizer distributor is the same as an all mild steel distributor except for the following additions:
All parts that move against one another, to affect the swinging of the inner spout, are made of type 304 stainless steel. This consists of the inner spout, spout flexes, spout latch plate, hanger, shields and pivot rods for flexes.
The interior roller chain is stainless steel.
Stainless steel operating cable is provided for 50 feet of operation.
As an option, complete sandblasting and epoxy coating of the exterior and interior of the unit is available.
